The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia state, High Chief Ikechi Emenike, has assured Abians that his administration will develop home-grown Billionaires within few years if elected into office. This is one of the 23 key deliverables in his manifesto.
Chief Emenike emphasized on the need for Abians, especially the youths, to be independent and generate their own wealth legitimately. This will lead to the overall economic development of the state.
In his words, “we are going to develop home-grown Billionaires. We shall deliberately create 12 Abia-based billionaires within the first three years of the new administration. Big institutions are not created out if thin air, they are built by endowed, encouraged, and determined human beings.”
He also stressed that the billionaires will not emanate from the embezzlement of state funds, but rather, they should be ready to put in legitimate efforts. Chief Emenike also revealed that the team that will make up his administration are technocrats who are doing very well within and outside the shores of Nigeria. Little wonder, the APC governorship candidate promises to transform Abia into the diplomatic capital of the south east.

In a media chat, Prince Tony Eze, the media aide of the APC gubernatorial candidate, stressed that ideas that will lead to the development of the state will be highly welcomed by his principal, as they are on a mission to rescue and develop Abia. He also advised Abians to vote for APC in the March 11 polls so that they can truly enjoy the dividends of democracy from the government of the state.
