The proposed date for the annual ceremony conducted by Bishop Emeka Nwamkpa through his foundation has been postponed and a new date communicated for 9th January 2023, this reschedule was necessary to enable the planning committee address issues that will make the event a hitch free ceremony. This is according to Comr. Larry Chinsom Egbe, the coordinator who signed the short message to the press to communicate the new date and send regrets.

Why Bishop Nwankpa's Event With the Widows Was Postponed to January 9

Postponement of Bishop Emeka Nwankpa Foundation’s Widows Must Smile Ceremony

_The Bishop Emeka Nwankpa Foundation has rescheduled Monday, January 9th, 2023 to hold the annual ‘Widows Must Smile’ ceremony.

The event, which was earlier scheduled for Monday, January 2nd, 2023, has now been shifted to the new date, January 9th.

All inconveniences caused by the delay are deeply regretted._

This event has been a special means the Accord Abia State Gubernatorial Candidate has used to touch many lives in a positive way for many years.

During the ceremony, the youths are empowered with instruments that will positively engage them to be self reliant and self employed, while the widows are also empowered and given special gifts to brighten their day with fresh hope for better days to come.

You are encouraged to keep the date and rejoice with the widows as their lives are about to be touched once again, even as the Bishop is working hard to lead the walk towards changing Abia when elected as governor in 2023.
