The Ikwuano women from the four Clans and the 57 Villages in the Council Area have unanimously adopted Rep. Emeka Atuma of the All Progressives Congress (APC )as their sole Senatorial Candidate for Abia Central Senatorial District election in 2027 .

Ikwuano Women Adopts Emeka Atuma as Their Sole Senatorial Candidate

The women led by Hon. Lady Chinyere Ehilegbu gathered in Ntalakwu Oboro on Friday September 25th, on a solidarity visit to Rep. Emeka Atuma.

Speaking during the visit, the women Clan Leaders Mrs Chioma Ibelachi of Ibere Clan, Mrs Charity Enyinnaya of Oloko Clan, Mrs Ihuoma Ukpabi of Ariam/Usaka Clan and Chief Mrs Chibuzo Akoma of Oboro Clan praised Rep. Emeka Atuma for bringing developmental projects to Ikwuano. They expressed satisfaction that his four year tenure in the House Representatives was marked by indelible landmarks of development projects in Ikwuano.

Such developmental projects include roads, erosion mitigation works and impactful empowerment for the youths of Ikwuano/Umuahia as well as provision of gainful employment for the youths.

They described Rep. Emeka Atuma as a worthy son of Ikwuano who has the capacity to bring great development to the people of Ikwuano and indeed Abia Central Senatorial District.

They appreciated the All Progressives Congress APC for giving Hon. Rep. Emeka Atuma the Senatorial ticket for Abia Central Senatorial District and pledged to mobilize people in their various Communities in the entire Ikwuano Local Government Area to vote massively for Rep. Emeka Atuma.

The Ikwuano women described the Senatorial bid of Rep. Emeka Atuma as timely and auspicious adding that Hon. Atuma’s Senatorial ambition is taken as the personal project of every Ikwuano person.

The women also promised to mobilize support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other candidates of the All Progressive Congress APC during the 2027 general elections.

Responding, Rep. Emeka Atuma who was evidently delighted, commended the women for adopting him as their sole Senatorial Candidate for Abia Central Senatorial District. He told the women that he is going to the Senate to give them qualitative and quantitative representation which will touch every facet of development including enhancement of their human resource capabilities.

He promised that the women will be given priority attention in his development programs when he is elected into office as their Senator.

The occasion turned solemn as the women lifted Rep. Emeka Atuma to God and prayed fervently for God’s blessings upon him to emerge victorious in the Senatorial election come 2027.

The event was attended by The Director General of the Emeka Atuma Campaign Council for Senate 2027 Hon. Chidi Nwosu. Also in attendance were other Directors including Pastor Patrick Ikechi PhD, Major Emmanuel Awah (rtd), Chief Mrs Oluchi Usuwa and other prominent politicians.
