Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has called on corps members deployed to Benue State for the 2019 Batch C Stream I orientation course at Wannune to use the opportunity presented by their call for national service and contribute to nation building.
The Governor felicitated with the fresh graduates over the successful completion of their various programmes that saw to their mobilisation and subsequent call up. He urged them to serve their fatherland with unreserved loyalty and dedication and to imitate the exemplary values exhibited by founding fathers of the NYSC scheme.
The State Governor who was represented by the Chairman NYSC State Governing Board, Hon. Ladi Ajene Isegbe commended the NYSC Management the State for valuable services rendered to the Benue people and reiterated his commitment to the scheme.
On his part the State Coordinator NYSC Benue Mr Shicha Joshua Simon appreciated the Governor for his presence at the occasion and support to the scheme and pledged to always support his government.
