SUPPORTING HON. EMEKA ATUMA IS BORN OUT OF CONVICTION

By Prince Kelechi Prico, CNA and Chijioke Joshua, I.

Our Good People of Abia Central,

Our support for Hon. Emeka Atuma is not a decision made by chance, sentiment, or political convenience. It is a decision born out of conviction, experience, proven service, and a firm belief in the capacity of a leader to make a difference.

Supporting Emeka Atuma is Born Out of Conviction - By Prince Kelechi and Kelechi Joshua

Over the years, Hon. Emeka Atuma has demonstrated a consistent commitment to the welfare and advancement of our people. Through initiatives in human capital development, youth empowerment, education, healthcare, skills acquisition, and community development, he has continued to create opportunities and positively impact lives.

His experience extends beyond politics. As a successful business manager, he understands the importance of job creation, investment, effective resource management, and sustainable development. As a former federal legislator and Chairman of the House Committee on Environment and Ecological Management, he also brings valuable legislative experience and an understanding of how to influence policies that directly affect our communities.

One of the issues associated with his legislative record is the establishment of NOSDRA—the National Oil Spill Detection and Response Agency, an institution designed to strengthen environmental protection and response to oil pollution.

At this critical moment, Abia Central needs representation that combines experience, competence, accessibility, and the ability to build meaningful relationships across political and governmental structures. Hon. Emeka Atuma’s relationships within the national political establishment can provide an important platform for reconnecting Abia Central to the federal government and attracting greater federal attention, projects, opportunities, and development.

Leadership is not merely about making promises during election periods. It is about what a person has consistently demonstrated through service.

Hon. Emeka Atuma has experience. He has relationships. He has a record of engagement with the people. And he understands the legislative terrain.

The recent conferment of the chieftaincy title “Ihie Ukwu Ohuhu”, alongside the reported support and solidarity from traditional rulers and stakeholders across Ohuhu and Ikwuano, further reflects the recognition he has received from different communities.

Our support, therefore, is based on a simple conviction: Abia Central deserves effective and influential representation at the Senate.

We need a Senator who can articulate our interests, attract meaningful federal presence, champion development initiatives, and remain connected to the people.

This is not about politics as usual. It is about competence, capacity, experience, and the future of Abia Central.

Our support for Hon. Emeka Atuma is born out of conviction.

Abia Central deserves the best.
