High Chief Ikechi Emenike expresses the importance of industrialization, and his manifesto revealed that it will be among the top priorities of government when elected as the governor of Abia state come March 11, in the governorship polls.
“My government will create an enabling environment that drives productivity and industrialization, thereby creating employment opportunities, increasing our IGR and enhancing the GDP growth of Abia, God’s own state.”
“We must identify our strengths and augment same.”
“We shall aggressively pursue a policy to rehabilitate or repair all moribund industries in Abia state. If owned by the government, we shall assiduously work to get them running again either as a government or by partnering with investors. If privately owned, we shall hold constructive dialogue with the owners on their challenges and if necessary, render appropriate assistance.”

Chief Emenike also spoke about some natural resources Abia is blessed with, and how he intend to harness them for the good of Abians when he becomes the governor of the state.
“Commercial deposit of limestone in Arochukwu, Ohafia, and Bende. Kaolin in Umuahia, Umunneochi, and Ikwuano. Black marble, and sulicon in Isuikwato. Oil and gas in Ukwa and Ngwa areas. All these natural resources will no longer remain untapped. We shall go out and directly source for investors.”
High Chief Emenike is the APC governorship candidate in Abia state, and he urges Abians to vote for APC in the governorship election come March 11, so that they can bring him to power in order to fully industrialize Abia.
