19 years after he left the Green Chamber, his projects are still serving the people.And while others make promises, Hon. Emeka Atuma has verifiable results. So, the Abia Central Senatorial District contest for 2027 is not for experiment – it is rather time to send a tested, trusted and prepared legislator to the Red Chamber.

1. UNMATCHED LAWMAKING RECORD
As Member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency (2003-2007) and Chairman, House Committee on Environment and Ecological Matters, he achieved what many could not achieve in 3 terms. For example, He sponsored the Acts that established two Federal Agencies namely:
- NOSDRA – National Oil Spill Detection and Response Agency

He ended water scarcity in his constituency with the drilling and provision of no fewer than 72 water projects spread across Ikwuano, Umuahia North and Umuahia South. Many are still functioning today.

Hon Emeka Atuma attracted and facilitated critical road infrastructure including:
- 1.6km Ntalakwu-Umuigu Road
- Ndoro-Ntalakwu Road

- Ekenobizi Road with extensive Erosion Control, Umuahia South LGA

- Rural Electrification that lit up forgotten communities across the zone

Modern classroom blocks, health center renovations and community town halls across the 3 LGAs of Ikwuano, Umuahia North and South.
6. HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT
In 2003, when motorcycle could build a family, he pioneered empowerment in Abia:
- 100 Motorcycles given FREE
- Sewing machines, hair dryers, grinding machines
- Startup capital for women
- Vehicles and Scholarships
Today his promise is bigger: Federal and International Jobs, Digital Skills and Sustainable Employment for youths.

From Umuafai to Ohokobe Ndume Ibeku, from Osisioma to Isiala Ngwa, his door is open. He attends August Meetings, weddings, burials, youth gatherings, church programs and Iriji New Yam Festival. Where he would attend in person , he sends a trusted delegation. That is why massive organic crowds receive him.

He never abandoned his people. He stayed in APC when APC had no root in Abia, built the formidable Grace Movement and kept empowering households without holding office.
