Rt. Hon. Emeka Atuma, the APC candidate for the Abia Central Senatorial District, received a significant show of support from party stakeholders and community leaders during a political engagement in Umuafai Community.

The engagement, which attracted APC leaders, community representatives and supporters, provided another platform for interaction between the candidate and grassroots stakeholders as political consultations and mobilisation continue across the district ahead of the 2027 elections.
At the meeting, the chief host, Ambassador Kachi Nwoko, popularly known as P-Square, alongside a number of APC stakeholders, expressed their confidence in Atuma and the other members of the political trio. They pointed to their experience, capacity and commitment to public service as attributes they believe position them to effectively represent the interests of the people.
The stakeholders also underscored the need for inclusive leadership, accessible representation and community-driven development, stressing that political representation must remain connected to the people at the grassroots. They called for greater unity, sustained dialogue and collective participation in building a political movement capable of articulating and advancing the aspirations of the community.
Of particular significance was the assurance that Umuafai Community would remain an active participant in the political process and would not be sidelined in the pursuit of representation and the dividends of democracy.
