SEN. DARLINGTON NWOKEOCHA TAKES PRE-CONSULTATION TO OSISIOMA NGWA TRADITIONAL RULERS AND UGWUEZES
The ongoing pre-consultation tour of Distinguished Senator Darlington Nwokocha ahead of the 2027 general elections has taken him to Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Area, where he met with the Osisioma Ngwa Traditional Rulers Council.
Addressing the traditional rulers, Senator Nwokocha explained that he considered it important to begin his engagements with a pre-consultation with Ndi Eze, describing the exercise as a mark of respect to the traditional institution.
According to the Senator, the current exercise is not yet the full consultation or campaign, but an opportunity to formally engage traditional rulers and stakeholders ahead of the next phase of his political activities.
He further informed the traditional rulers that he would return for further consultations when the appropriate time comes, noting that his subsequent engagements should therefore not come as a surprise.
Responding on behalf of the Osisioma Ngwa Traditional Rulers Council, His Royal Majesty Eze Chidi Obisike Nkoro, welcomed Senator Nwokocha and his delegation.
In his remarks, Eze Chidi Obisike Nkoro invoked the popular saying, “The early bird catches the worm,” in reference to the Senator’s early engagement with the traditional institution.
The visit concluded with the traditional rulers offering royal blessings and prayers for Senator Nwokocha and his team.
