It has come to our notice that the earlier publication made on this News website concerning how the Iri Ji Festival was interrupted and destabilised by Hon. Chinasa Anthony (Abiola), was completely false and has misled a lot of people in Umuahia, most especially our faithful readers.
On Saturday, September 5th 2026, my attention was drawn to the false publication made on this website, and I was called upon by the media aide of Hon, Chinasa, in the person of Mr Fortune Ifeanyi. He explained to me how false the information was, and how it has resulted to damaging the reputation of his principal. He took me to the community to have a one-on-one interaction with the youths, just to verify how peaceful the iri ji festival was on the said date.
To further clarify the issue, Fortune schedule a meeting between me and Hon. Chinasa so I can further hear from the horses mouth. An official apology was tendered at the meeting on behalf of myself and Nigerian Fact online news.
In conclusion, every other news and information you must have read on Nigerian Fact concerning how the Iri Ji Festival at Ohokobe-Umuokeiyi in Afara Ukwu, Umuahia Noth LGA, was destabilised by Hon. Chinasa is completely false. The originator of the news article has an intention of creating problem between Hon. Chinasa and his community so as to tarnish his political image.
