The fight against the novel coronavirus in our great country Nigeria just took a positive turn as the Minister of Health in Nigeria, Osagie Ehanire, confirmed that the second patient, who earlier tested positive in Nigeria some days back, has now tested negative to the virus.

Nigerian Who Tested Positive for Coronavirus Now Tests Negative

The country recorded its first coronavirus case in late February 2020, just weeks after it was first detected in Wuhan, China in December 2019.

The first confirmed case in Nigeira was recorded when a 44-year-old businessman from Italy landed in Lagos, the most populous city in Nigeria.

Still having this in mind, Nigerians are advised to take all precautionary steps so as to avoid been infected with the deadly virus. Such steps include regular washing of hands with sanitizers, avoid placing your hands into your mouth, nose, and eyes, and lots more.
