The real conversation about credible representation can never be relegated to the background. It is in that conversation that the name of Hon. Nkiruka Onyejeocha stands tall.

‎Bills, Not Noise: Why Onyejeocha Remains The Standard For Isuikwuato /Umunneochi ~ By Jessy Onyeukwu

‎The first profile of a successful lawmaker is measured by bills sponsored, bills scaled through first and second reading, and presidential assent that turns them into law. By that standard, Nigeria gained immensely from Hon. Nkiruka Onyejeocha’s contributions in the National Assembly.

‎To the glory of God, she has too many of her bills and initiatives implemented and now form part of our national progress today.

‎She set a standard that will be difficult for any political neophyte to sustain, if we are truthful to ourselves. Since her departure, Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency has not been better off. The duties and challenges of representing this constituency today have outweighed the capacity of the current representative, who is still struggling to find his footing as a proper legislator.

‎That is why, as 2027 draws closer, constituents of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi must be intentional about who represents them next.

‎While this setback lingers, the enemies of the constituency have chosen to remain silent on substance. Instead, they chase shadows and avoid the real issues.

‎Nothing will change in a constituency where an underperforming lawmaker is retained, while critics pick holes in Onyejeocha’s years of service at the National Assembly.

‎The conversation should be about achievements, bills, motions, and the federal projects she attracted in actuality.

‎A certain level of maturity is required when discussing progress that will affect the larger number of people in this constituency, not just a few individuals.

‎Hon. Nkiruka Onyejeocha has no stain on her CV. She represented Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency with dignity and purpose.

‎Having also served as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, she is strategically positioned to attract more dividends of democracy and ensure Isuikwuato/Umunneochi flourishes again.
