WHEN PROPAGANDA COVERS INCOMPETENCE: WHY IKWUANO/UMUAHIA HAS REJECTED EXCUSES AND CHOSEN CHINEDUM ORJI FOR EMANCIPATION

By MANDATE 27 GROUP

When propaganda tries to cover incompetence, arrogance becomes the result. And selfishness becomes laughable when non-performance is looking for excuses. That is the tragic comedy playing out in Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia South Federal Constituency today. For nearly three years, the comatose representation of the constituency has not made any attempt to show those whose mandate he holds in trust that his representation is not a mistake. Instead of bills, we get excuses. Instead of projects, we get propaganda. And when that propaganda is unmasked as infantile – that he is underfunded because he is in opposition – the bottom line remains glaring failure. Ndi Ikwuano/Umuahia have therefore made a collective decision: enough of excuses, it is time for emancipation. And the man on the mission of that emancipation is Rt. Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji.

Why Ikwuano/Umuahia Has Rejected Excuses and Chose Chinedum Orji for Emancipation

THE COMATOSE REPRESENTATION THAT INSULTS A STRATEGIC CONSTITUENCY

The representation of Ikwuano/Umuahia is comatose. It is a representation that has gone to sleep while the constituency is awake. A strategic constituency that houses the capital city, that hosts Michael Okpara University, that is the pride of Abia, deserves vibrant representation. What it has gotten is a bench-warmer who mistakes appearance in the chamber for representation. Ndi Ikwuano/Umuahia did not give their mandate in trust for it to be put in a freezer. They gave it for results.

PROPAGANDA AS A COVER FOR INCOMPETENCE

When a representative has nothing to show, he manufactures propaganda. That is what we see. The latest infantile propaganda is that the Ikwuano/Umuahia representative is underfunded because he is in opposition. This is an insult to the intelligence of Ndi Ikwuano/Umuahia. Since when did legislative brilliance need funding? Since when did moving a motion need allocation? Since when did sponsoring a bill need a budget from the executive? Incompetence is now looking for a political blanket to cover itself, but the people have removed the blanket.

THE ISUIKWUATO/UMUNNEOCHI LIE-BUSTER

When the representative tries to weave that lie that opposition is his problem, one begins to wonder whether the Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency representative is not of the same Labour Party or whether he is not even a Principal Officer in the Green Chamber. Isuikwuato/Umunneochi is Labour. Ikwuano/Umuahia is Labour. But one is rolling out visible representation, human capital development programs, skill acquisition, verifiable constituency projects, while the other is rolling out excuses. The same party, different results. The difference is not party; the difference is capacity. One has capacity, the other has comedy.

LIES AGAINST RMAFC: THE FAILED SMEAR

In the desperation to justify failure, attempts were also made to lie against the Revenue Mobilization and Fiscal Allocation Commission, albeit unsuccessfully. The thinking was that if you blame RMAFC for your allowances, the people will pity you. But Ndi Ikwuano/Umuahia are not pity voters. They know that every member of the House earns the same, whether APC, PDP or Labour. They know that bills are not sponsored with RMAFC allocation. That lie fell like a pack of cards. And when lies fail, arrogance takes over. But arrogance cannot build roads, arrogance cannot fund MOUAU, arrogance cannot give jobs.

THE BOTTOM LINE: GLARING FAILURE

Strip away the propaganda, strip away the arrogance, strip away the selfish attempt to hold a whole constituency to ransom with excuses, and the bottom line is glaring failure. No landmark bill. No landmark motion. No federal presence attracted to Umuahia the capital. No intervention for Ikwuano’s deplorable federal roads. No voice for MOUAU. No capital city agenda. Just a glaring failure that even the most loyal supporter can no longer defend. And failure has consequences.

NDI IKWUANO/UMUAHIA HAVE MADE DEDUCTIBLE REASONINGS

Ndi Ikwuano/Umuahia are not fools. They are professors, civil servants, traders, farmers, students – enlightened people. They have heard the incumbent, they have watched the incumbent, and they have made deductible reasonings: that this representation does not befit their stature. They have concluded that 2027 is not about pity, it is about emancipation. They need to emancipate their constituency from comatose representation and restore dignity to the capital.

THE MISSION OF EMANCIPATION BEGINS

Every oppressed people need an emancipator. Ikwuano/Umuahia’s emancipation has found its mission and its man. The mission is to rescue the capital constituency from political redundancy and return it to national relevance. The man on that mission is Rt. Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji – tested, trusted, unbossed, unbought, and armed with legislative experience that no infantile propaganda can erase.

RT. HON. CHINEDUM ENYINNAYA ORJI: THE MAN WHO DOES NOT NEED EXCUSES

Orji does not need excuses because he has results. As Speaker of the 7th Abia State House of Assembly, he did not blame opposition for non-performance. He led a House of 24 members, managed diversity, and delivered stability and laws that mattered. He did not tell Abians he was underfunded; he showed them what he did with the little he had. That is the hallmark of a man on a mission of emancipation – he does not explain failure, he delivers success.

BURU EZIOKWU: THE ANTIDOTE TO PROPAGANDA

In an era of propaganda, Ndi Ikwuano/Umuahia need Buru Eziokwu – the man who carries truth. Chinedum Orji is Buru Eziokwu. His records are verifiable. His projects are visible. His empowerment as Speaker was silent but massive, not audio. He does not need to lie against RMAFC because his performance speaks. He does not need to blame party because his pedigree transcends party. Truth is his weapon against propaganda, and truth will prevail.

KWECHIRI: THE BRIDGE THAT EMANCIPATION NEEDS

Emancipation needs a bridge. Ikwuano/Umuahia is divided by the propaganda of non-performers who want to play Ikwuano against Umuahia. Orji is Kwechiri – the bridge builder. He is at home in Oboro, at home in Ibeku, at home in Ohuhu, at home in Olokoro. He will not be an Ikwuano representative or Umuahia representative; he will be an Ikwuano/Umuahia representative. That is what emancipation looks like – unity of purpose for the capital.

THE LEGISLATIVE EMANCIPATOR: BILLS, MOTIONS AND FEDERAL PRESENCE

The emancipation that Orji brings is legislative emancipation. He will not go to Abuja to learn what a bill is. He will go to sponsor bills – Bill for Federal University Teaching Hospital for MOUAU, Bill for Umuahia Capital Development Authority, Bill for Agro-Industrial Park for Ikwuano. He will move motions that force the federal government to fix the Umuahia-Ikot Ekpene Road, Umuahia-Uzuakoli-Ohafia Road, and Umuahia-Ikwuano Road. That is emancipation from comatose representation to active representation.

THE MOUAU AND CAPITAL CITY EMANCIPATION AGENDA

Orji’s emancipation mission has two anchors: MOUAU and Umuahia capital. He will emancipate MOUAU from underfunding by leveraging TETFund, NDDC, and federal interventions. He will emancipate Umuahia from being a capital city in name only, by pushing for a federal secretariat that befits a state capital, for federal jobs for graduates, for tech hubs for youths who currently roam the streets. He will make Umuahia capital in deed and in truth.

UNBOSSED, UNBOUGHT: THE FREEDOM TO FIGHT FOR HIS PEOPLE

A man who is bossed cannot emancipate his people; he can only obey his boss. A man who is bought and himself a zombie, cannot fight for his people; he has already sold them. Orji is unbossed and unbought. He is free to fight. Free to engage any minister, free to demand, free to negotiate without looking over his shoulder. That freedom is what Ikwuano/Umuahia needs to be emancipated from the prison of excuses. An emancipator cannot be a slave himself.

OVERALL CHOICE OF NDI IKWUANO/UMUAHIA: THE VERDICT IS UNANIMOUS

Today, from Usaka to Umudike, from Ohuhu to Olokoro, from Ibeku to Afugiri, the verdict is unanimous. Market women, students, farmers, professors, civil servants, traditional rulers – all have said one thing: enough of propaganda, we want performance. Enough of arrogance, we want humility and hard work. Their overall choice is Rt. Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji. Not because he is the only alternative, but because he is the quality alternative. Not because he is perfect, but because he is proven.

FINALE: FROM COMATOSE TO CONQUERING – EMANCIPATION IS HERE

When propaganda tries to cover incompetence, arrogance becomes the result. But when a people decide to emancipate themselves, no propaganda can stop them. Ndi Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency have decided. They have rejected the comatose representation that insults their mandate. They have rejected the infantile propaganda of underfunding and the failed lies against RMAFC. They have looked beyond Isuikwuato/Umunneochi to see what a Labour man can do when he has capacity, and they have chosen capacity. Rt. Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji is the man on the mission of emancipation, and emancipation is now.
