Trash written by drowning team of Aguocha says Ndi Umuda prepared space and waited three years. Here is truth from man who is still alive — Ikechukwu Kelvin Okorie.
In his own words:
“In 2023, on the instruction of our principal I personally delivered a 500kva transformer to the house of Engr Onyema Ihemnandu(Ezumezu) in Umuda Isingwu . I also visited his house to confirm that the transformer was in his house when they peddled false rumor that our principal retrieved the transformer in 2023. I will provide solid evidence, the day the Umuda people came to our principal’s house and he donated the 500kva transformer to them. The day I delivered the transformer and the day I visited Mr Ezumezu and he confirmed that the transformer is in his house. According to Mr Ezumezu, he said that the transformer was the first ever gift the Umuda people have ever gotten from a politician.”
That is account of Ikechukwu Kelvin Okorie. Presently alive. Not dead.
So where is lie?
Community prepared space? Yes — because they knew transformer was coming from Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji.
Transformer delivered? Yes — 500kva delivered to house of Mr Ezumezu in Umuda in 2023 on instruction of principal.
Rumour of retrieval? False — Ikechukwu visited again to confirm transformer still in his house.
Evidence? He will provide solid evidence — day Umuda people came to principal’s house and donation was made, day of delivery, day of confirmation visit.
Value to community? Mr Ezumezu himself said it was first ever gift Umuda has ever gotten from a politician.
So what is unresolved story? The transformer left Umuahia, entered Umuda, entered Mr Ezumezu’s house, confirmed still there. If it is still in private house and not mounted at designated location, who should explain? The keeper of transformer, not donor.
Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, Sui Generis, donated. Delivery made. Confirmation made. Evidence available. That is record, not promise.
