International Day of Peace: Chinedum Orji Calls for Unity, Tolerance and Sustainable Development in Ikwuano/Umuahia
The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Ikwuano/Umuahia North & South Federal Constituency in the 2027 House of Representatives election, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji, has called on the people of Ikwuano and Umuahia to embrace peace, unity, mutual respect and understanding as essential foundations for sustainable development and collective progress.
In a goodwill message marking the 2026 International Day of Peace, Orji emphasised the importance of peaceful coexistence, dialogue and responsible citizenship in strengthening communities and advancing the well-being of the people.
The APC candidate extended his goodwill to constituents on the occasion, urging them to remain ambassadors of peace in their homes, workplaces, communities and places of worship.
He expressed the hope that the International Day of Peace would inspire renewed commitment to unity, compassion and collective responsibility, while reaffirming the importance of working together towards a peaceful, inclusive and prosperous future for the Ikwuano/Umuahia North & South Federal Constituency and Nigeria.
