A group of women who lost their husbands to the cold hands of death, otherwise known as widows in Abia State has vowed to give massive votes to the Accord Party Candidate and Senior Pastor of Chapel of Faith International Ministry who is determined to change the narrative of leadership in the state by ushering in a people-oriented, transparent and accountable government that will be responsible and responsive to Abians at all times.

Abia Widows Vow To Reciprocate The Good Deeds of Bishop Nwankpa With Their Votes Come March 18

The woman who paid him a solidarity visit in his residence spoke to journalists who threw questions at them to understand their motivation to take such a strong stand on the governorship election, they said that Bishop Emeka Nwankpa has been a husband to them for many years and therefore it was time to reward him with their votes because it is the only simple way they can thank him for his many years of love and care towards them in their predicaments.

The leader of the group of women who identified herself as Madam Comfort Adighibe from Ugwunagbo Local Government said that she, just like most of her colleagues has been a beneficiary of Dr. Nwankpa’s philanthropy through the ‘Widows Must Smile” event spanning over 17 years.

“Bishop Emeka Nwankpa has been good to us. I was here on 9th January 2023 to share in the joy he always brings to us every year. I went home with wrappers, Rice, money, and his prayers. He is a Godsent man to make Abia great again, every widow in this state will vote for him because that is the only way we can say ” thank you” to him for his love for us. If he can do all these from his resources, it means that when he becomes the governor of the state, widows will smile more and more.

“It is not the joy of any woman to lose her husband, but when we do, we face a lot of rejection and pain from family members who always abandoned us to our fate. But “Our Bishop” has never left us. Most of the children under his scholarship program are children of widows, he has empowered many of us and still feeds us every year. what can we use to say thank you is not to give him our votes.

“We are calling on every widow in Abia state to vote for Emeka Nwankpa wherever you are. If his goodwill for the widows has not gotten to you, it is because of his limited resources. With him as the governor of Abia State, our lives will be better because he will always remember us”, appealed.

Recall that on the 9th Day of January 2023, the Bishop Emeka Nwankpa foundation suspended all campaign activities to allow the principal to host the 17th annual version of his dedicated program for widows in Abia state where he blesses them with diverse gifts and prayers.
Indeed, the candidacy of Amb. Bishop Dr. Emeka Nwankpa is setting different precedence in the way politics should be played to the glory of God.
