The NPFL Week 2 Fixtures experienced a shift in their scheduled matches this week end especially the one taking place in Uyo, where Akwa United will host Abia Warriors FC from Umuahia.
According the Nigeria Professional Football League Management, the tie is now rescheduled to take place on Thursday, November 14, 2019. The postponement was a result it the forthcoming AFCON 2021 qualifier between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and The Squirrels of Benin Republic taking place in the same stadium on November 13.
