Abia State University has announced the resumption date for completion of the 2019/2020 academic session. This was made known in a memo released by the management of ABSU on January 18th, 2020.
The nationwide strike of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, coupled with the lock down as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, has placed Nigerian students at home for many months. For all undergraduates of Abia State University, Uturu, the stay-at-home period has come to an end. The school management has released a memo which indicates that Monday, January 25 2020, has been slated as the resumption date for the completion of the 2019/2020 academic session.
The memo also explained that all COVID-19 prevention protocol must be strictly adhered to by the returning students, so as to ensure their safety during their stay in school.
