The momentum for 2027 continues to gather massive steam as Distinguished Senator Darlington Nwokocha today continued his pre-consultation tour with a strategic visit to Umuahia North Local Government Area.
The Senator met with Party Stakeholders of Umuahia North and various Pro-Groups loyal to his movement and the Labour Party.
The meeting which was held in an atmosphere of joy and solidarity, had in attendance party leaders, ward chairmen, women and youth leaders, coordinators of Abia Arise, and other support groups who trooped out en masse to receive the Senator.
UMUAHIA NORTH DECLARES TOTAL SUPPORT
Speaking on behalf of the stakeholders, the leaders of Umuahia North declared their total and unflinching support for Senator Darlington Nwokocha to represent Abia Central Senatorial District in the 2027 general election.
According to them, Senator Nwokocha is a tested and trusted leader whose capacity, courage and antecedents speak volume. They described him as a grassroots politician who has always identified with the people.
In their words: “Umuahia North has spoken with one voice. We have unanimously adopted and endorsed Senator Darlington Nwokocha for Abia Central 2027. We are ready to work and deliver.”
The Pro-Groups on their part, assured the Senator of their readiness to mobilize at the ward and polling unit levels to ensure total victory for the Labour Party and Senator Darlington Nwokocha.

In his response, Senator Darlington Nwokocha thanked the people of Umuahia North for the overwhelming show of love and endorsement.
He assured them that Abia Central will witness quality, effective and people-oriented representation when elected, and that he will not disappoint the confidence reposed in him.
He further charged them to remain united and steadfast as the journey to reclaim Abia Central for total liberation has just begun.
The meeting ended with a unanimous endorsement and solidarity songs for Senator Darlington Nwokocha and the Labour Party.
