THE SHAME OF REPRESENTATION: WHY IKWUANO/UMUAHIA MUST URGENTLY KICK OUT A MAN BEREFT OF IDEAS

By MANDATE 27 GROUP

There is a shame that is loud. There is a shame that is silent. The shame of Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency in Abuja is both. For three and a half years, we sent a man to the Green Chamber to speak for us, but any public forum he gets, he uses it to insult Rt. Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji and his family. That is his only achievement. That is his only programme. Because Hon. Obi Aguocha is demonstrating gross ineptitude and is completely bereft of ideas. He knows he has lost the confidence of Ndi Ikwuano/Umuahia, and so he has turned insult into campaign. But a constituency cannot be fed with insults. It must urgently kick him out, because he embodies the shame of representation.

The Shame of Representation: Why Ikwuano/Umuahia Must Urgently Kick Out a Man Bereft of Ideas

A MAN BEREFT OF IDEAS HAS ONLY INSULT LEFT

When a man is bereft of ideas, insult becomes his manifesto. Obi Aguocha has no bill to showcase. No federal project to commission. No town hall to reference. So what does he do? Any microphone he sees, he insults Chinedum Orji. Any village square, he insults the Orji family. That is the classic sign of intellectual emptiness. A man with ideas talks about ideas. A man without ideas talks about another man.

THREE AND A HALF YEARS, NOTHING ON GROUND

Ordinarily, this campaign period should have afforded him the opportunity to showcase what he has achieved within three and a half years. Any serious representative would roll out scorecard: This is the road I facilitated. This is the health centre I built. This is the job I secured for our youths. But Obi Aguocha cannot. Because there is nothing on ground to show that Ikwuano/Umuahia has a representative in Abuja. Nothing in Oboro. Nothing in Ibeku. Nothing in Ohuhu. Nothing.

INSULT IS NOT REPRESENTATION

Ndi Ikwuano/Umuahia did not send Aguocha to Abuja to insult Orji. We sent him to represent us. We sent him to lobby for ecological fund to stop erosion in Ikwuano. We sent him to push for federal secretariat for Umuahia capital. We sent him to fight for MOUAU teaching hospital. Three and a half years after, he has not spoken for erosion, he has not spoken for Umuahia, he has not spoken for MOUAU. He only speaks against Orji. That is not representation, that is shame.

THE CONFIDENCE IS LOST

He knows he has lost the confidence of Ndi Ikwuano/Umuahia. You see it in his eyes when he enters a market. You hear it in the silence when he expects applause. You feel it in village meetings where elders look away. The market woman in Orie Ugba says: we have not seen him. The youth in Lodu says: he never came. When confidence is lost, ipso facto you must go. You cannot lead a people who no longer believe in you.

A CAMPAIGN OF ANTICS

His entire campaign is antics and spree of insults. He manufactures lie that Orji removed transformers that are still standing. Community leaders debunk it. He manufactures lie about 100 billion that has been debunked by EFCC itself. Again he fails. Antics cannot build constituency. Antics cannot negotiate budget. Antics is proof of emptiness, and emptiness must be kicked out.

WHAT IS THE SHAME OF REPRESENTATION?

The shame of representation is when other federal constituencies are commissioning federal projects and yours is commissioning insults. The shame is when your mates in Abia are moving motions that touch lives and you are moving mouth that touches no life. The shame is when your constituency Google’s your name and only insults against Orji appear, not one project. That shame is Obi Aguocha, and that shame must be removed from Abuja.

CHO CHO CHO CANNOT SAVE HIM

We called it before: cho cho cho, empty talks with no consequence. Aguocha is embodiment of cho cho cho. He talks about sustainable institutional growth but cannot show one institution he has grown. He talks about legislative frameworks but cannot show one framework. Ndi Ikwuano/Umuahia have moved beyond cho cho cho. We want transformers that hum, not grammar that hums.

REJECT HIS ANTICS, REJECT HIS INSULTS

We must convince ourselves to reject his antics and spree of insults against Rt. Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji. Why insult a man whose record is visible? Orji’s transformers are standing. Orji’s roads graded in Umuahia Central are still plyed. Orji’s open door policy as Speaker was felt. You insult a man because you cannot match him. That is jealousy, not capacity. And jealousy is not what we need in Abuja.

CAPACITY HAS A NAME, SHAME HAS A NAME

Capacity has a name: Rt. Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji. Shame also has a name: representation that is bereft of ideas. All things being equal, ceteris paribus, ipso facto, by the facts themselves, we must choose capacity over shame. 2027 is not about who insults most, it is about who delivers most. Delivery has been tested, and delivery is Orji.

THE URGENT NEED TO KICK HIM OUT

The need to urgently kick him out of Abuja is not personal, it is collective survival. If we leave shame in Abuja for another four years, Ikwuano/Umuahia will disappear from federal map completely. Erosion will take our lands, our youths will have no federal jobs, our capital status will remain audio. Urgency is now. We cannot afford another four years of insults as representation.

THE VERDICT OF THE PEOPLE IS CLEAR

Go to Ariam, go to Oboro, go to Ibeku, go to Ohuhu, go to Nkwoegwu, the verdict is same: he has failed. The people have expressed dissatisfaction. They have described him as huge failure and unfit. That dissatisfaction itself, ipso facto, is disqualification. When people reject you, you do not force yourself by insulting another man. You honourably go.

WHY ORJI IS THE ANTIDOTE TO SHAME

Orji is antidote to shame because he knows legislation. As Speaker, he understood that Assembly autonomy strengthens oversight, not personal pocket. He understands that federal representation is lobbying, not insulting. He understands that common interest is greater than personal fight. That is why his representation will bring federal presence, not personal presence.

FINAL PLEA TO NDI IKWUANO/UMUAHIA

Ndi Ikwuano/Umuahia, let us reject antics. Let us reject spree of insults. Let us reject a man bereft of ideas. Let us reject shame of representation. We have suffered enough silence from Abuja. Now we need voice. Loud voice, effective voice, weighty voice.

CONCLUSION: KICK OUT SHAME, BRING BACK CAPACITY

Come 2027, let us do the needful. Let us kick out shame from Abuja and bring back capacity to Abuja. Let us kick out cho cho cho and bring back transformers that hum. Let us kick out insult as campaign and bring back projects as campaign. Let us kick out Hon. Obi Aguocha who embodies shame of representation and bring in Rt. Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji who embodies capacity, honour, and delivery. The time is now.
