The APC frontline candidate for Umuahia East State Constituency, Sir Innocent Chimezie Nwachukwu (Onwa), paid a solemn condolence visit to the family of the late Squadron Leader Ahamefule Aham Man-Ugwueje.
The late officer tragically passed on 5th October, 2026, following a Nigerian Air Force ATR-42 aircraft crash in Ogun State.
Sir Nwachukwu was accompanied by a delegation from Ukome Community and key members of the ONWA 2027 Campaign Consultation Team, led by Hon. Chiedozie Okpechi.
During the visit, Sir Nwachukwu commiserated with the bereaved family and expressed his heartfelt sympathy on behalf of the entire constituency. He described the untimely death of the gallant young officer as a painful and irreparable loss to his immediate family, Ukome Community, Umuahia East State Constituency, and the entire Ibeku land.
He further offered prayers for the peaceful repose of the late Squadron Leader’s soul and prayed that Almighty God grants the family, friends, and the Ukome community the strength and fortitude to bear this heavy loss.
