“Governor Otti, I commend you highly. Projects, whether they are Federal or State, the important thing is to touch the lives of the people of our States. So, we are very happy.
“Whether in APC, Labour Party, PDP or any other political leaning, we are happy with the Governor for what he is doing in the State for the people,” Mr President noted.
The President said that he has continued to integrate the South East into the affairs of the nation, assuring that he will keep integrating the State and the rest of the Southeast into the National politics.
Speaking earlier, Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Otti said that the auditorium was in a very bad state when he took over as Governor in 2023.
He expressed joy for the quality of work done in the edifice and invited Mr. President to cut the ceremonial tape and see things for himself.
“This is the Michael Okpara Auditorium, which was left in a dilapidated state.
“Towards the end of 2023, we started working on it. I’m glad that today, it is a standing edifice worthy of beholding, and by the time we make a step inside, Your Excellency, you will be happy with the quality of work done, Gov. Otti stated.
