The management and staff of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released a new date for the 2020 Batch “B” Stream II orientation exercise. This was contained in a press release where the management explained the reason for the new date, which was in line with a recent discussion with the NCDC.
All prospective corps members are advised to exercise patience and adhere to the new date.
TO ALL 2020 BATCH “B” STREAM TWO PROSPECTIVE CORPS MEMBERS (PCMs)
This is to convey to all the 2020 Batch “B” Stream Two prospective Corps Members Management’s appreciation of their patience and eagerness to serve the Nation under the National Youth Service Corps Scheme, as variously expressed on the social media platforms.
This release is to assure all the PCMs that sequel to the discussion of the Scheme with the NCDC, commencement date for the 2020 Batch “B” Stream ll Orientation exercise will now be 18th January, 2021 alongside educational institutions as against 5th January, 2021 earlier announced.
Accordingly, all concerned are advised to always stay in touch with the Scheme’s social media platforms, as well as the traditional media for updates on the forthcoming Orientation programme.
Management anticipates that the same level of enthusiasm so far shown by you concerning enrollment into the service Corps shall be brought to bear in the tasks that shall be assigned you in the course of the national programme.
Meanwhile, continue to observe faithfully the COVID-19 safety protocols as issued by the Federal Government from time to time. You are to also note that PCMs and Camp officials will undergo COVID-19 test. Only those that are negative will be admitted in camps.
