The Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State, High Chief Ikechi Emenike has assured Abians of instituting development blocks in Abia State if he emerge victorious at the governorship polls in March 2023.
Chief Emenike who spoke during the APC Mega Rally that took place on Tuesday, January 24 at the Umuahia Township Stadium, stated that Abians have yearned for development over the years, and the time for the desired development has coome.
He revealed that despite the efforts to ensure that their emergence will not come to pass, he is very optimistic that they will come out victorious at the polls as the party knows the plights of Ndi Abia and he is prepared to take up these challenges if he is elected Governor of Abia state.
High Chief Emenike, who charged all Abians no matter where they are domiciled, to think of rescuing the State from her current status before the desired development will come, urged all to join hands in achieving the Abia of their dream.
He charged the youths to take the message of hope to their immediate family members and friends, assuring them that their cries of unemployment is over, promising that he will put structures on ground that will ensure that they will be gainfully employed.
Emenike, also reeled out plans to pay pensioners and ensure regular payment of salaries of workers, noting that it is the right of the worker to receive his salaries, emphasizing that the story of Abia will change if he emerges the Governor.
He assured the National Working Committee of the party and the Presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, of a resounding victory in Abia, stressing that Abia is APC and will churn out 100% vote for the party at the polls.
Meanwhile, during an interaction with newsmen after the rally, the Director Media & Publicity, Ikechi Emenike Campaign Organization, Prince Tony Eze, assured Abians that his principal, High Chief Ikechi Emenike, is the perfect leader Abians deserve. He maintained that Ikechi Emenike has both political and leadership prowess that will attract development to Abia state. He urge all Abians to make the right decision in the forthcoming polls by electing Ikechi Emenike as governor of Abia state.
