Hon. Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr. has said if one not being accessible denotes providing basic amenities that surround him, then he chooses not to be accessible.
The House Assembly hopeful for Obingwa West State Constituency, in the Abia State House of Assembly who stated this on Friday while interacting with newsmen shortly after receiving the expression of interest and nomination forms purchased for him by Uhie women numbering over 500 hundred, said he has always believed in working than talking.
He stated that the business of politics requires showing ones score card, reiterating that the masses will carry out their assessment of a certain aspirant based on what he/she has done for his people before gunning for a certain position.
On what the expression of interest and nomination forms purchased for him by women across the six wards in Uhie portends, the renowned philanthropist said he feels loved, fulfilled and can sense the success story already, noting that to whom much is given, much is also expected.
He pledged to continue impacting the lives of people positively, re-emphasizing that whatever that has made him attract this kind of love from his people would be sustained.
Hon. Erondu commended all those who made a stake in his project, announcing that he had instructed Uhie women to open their doors to more women who want to be a part of Erondu’s project, adding that democracy is all about participation just as he revealed that their participation in his project makes them key stakeholders.
