- Emeka Nwankpa Campaign Organization
The campaign organization of the Accord governorship candidate, Bishop Dr Emeka Nwankpa, has reacted to the ‘resignation and defection’ of Prince Okpere Udo, its deputy governorship candidate.
In a press statement released to newsmen, the group described the erstwhile deputy governorship candidate as a sell-out, and dismissed the media report that there is trouble in the party which it described as ‘one big united family’.
The group went further to state that such a move by Okpere Udo, who had enjoyed the love and support of Bishop Emeka Nwankpa, was nothing short of betrayal and stab in the back occasioned by greed and avarice which has manifested following monetary inducement by a rival party.
It urged the teeming supporters of Bishop Emeka Nwankpa to remain unperturbed as Okpere Udo’s exit would have no negative effect on Bishop Emeka Nwankpa’s predestined emergence as Abia’s next governor, which will be divinely actualized on March 18.
It challenged Abians to rise up to the task of entrenching the much-desired change which Bishop Emeka and Accord represent.
