The Abia State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated former Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu, on his appointment as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Spain.
In a statement, the party described the appointment as a recognition of Dr. Ikpeazu’s experience in public service and his contributions to governance during his tenure as Governor of Abia State.
The Abia APC noted that his new diplomatic role presents another opportunity for him to serve the country and contribute to strengthening bilateral relations between Nigeria and Spain.
The party further expressed optimism that Dr. Ikpeazu would bring his wealth of administrative experience to bear in advancing Nigeria’s diplomatic and economic interests in Spain.
The Abia APC wished him success in the new assignment and prayed for wisdom and good health as he undertakes the responsibilities of representing Nigeria abroad.
