His Royal Majesty, Eze Nnamdi Ofoegbu has released a disclaimer to a purported online publication titled “Royal Ultimatum to Abia APC Governorship Candidate Chief Ikechi Emenike Over Intention to Go to Court”, and vowed to take legal action on the said online publisher/blogger.
The Chairman, Ohuhu Council of Traditional Rulers, Ikwuano/Umuahia Supreme Council of Traditional Rulers, and the Paramount Ruler of Umudiawa Autonomous Community in Umuahia North LGA, in a letter, stated that he is not aware of any statement credited to Chief Emenike to the effect of going to court to challenge the supposedly outcome of the governorship election that took place on March 18, 2023, and could not have challenged the same.
HRM Eze Ofoegbu also started that, at no time was a meeting held by the traditional Rulers in Umuahia in order to stop the APC governorship candidate from challenging his mandate in court.
The false publication also had it that traditional Rulers in Umuahia threatens to ban High Chief Ikechi Emenike from Abia if he persist in going to court, of which HRM Eze Ofoegbu stated that it is all lies.
HRM Eze Ofoegbu said that he has initiated legal actions, and will stop at nothing in unravelling the masterminds of such a wicked and ungodly publication.
